Hello, and welcome back to Doughly Noted ! This is Day 3 of looking back at my 30-day diet challenge from July 2025. As I'm writing this in 2026, I'm maintaining around 52–53 kg (114.6–116.8 lbs / 8 stone 3 lbs–8 stone 5 lbs) after experiencing some weight regain. Looking back at these old records, one thing has become obvious—I simply wasn't eating enough. At the time, I thought strict discipline was the secret to getting lean. Now I'm asking myself a different question: Was eating too little one of the reasons I eventually regained the weight? After unexpectedly losing weight despite my late-night food party on Day 2, I couldn't wait to see what Day 3 had in store. Spoiler alert: the number on the scale made me smile... but the InBody report definitely didn't. The InBody Mystery: How Did My Body Fat Increase While My Weight Decreased? Here were my measurements from the fitness center's InBody scanner. Weight: 51.8 kg (114.2 lbs / 8 stone 2 lbs)...

Hi there! Welcome to Doughly Noted.  Let me start my Day 2 journal entry. My Day 2 journal starts the next morning when I stepped on the scale, especially after my late-night yogurt bowl with extra jam and peanut butter. And here is the result. A Complete Surprise on the Scale Morning Weight: 52.3 kg (115.3 lbs / 8 stone 3 lbs) The Night Before (Before Bed): approx. 54 kg (119 lbs / 8 stone 7 lbs) Before hitting the pillow that night, the scale was holding steady at around 54 kg (119 lbs / 8 stone 7 lbs). But somehow, I woke up a 0.7 kg (1.5 lbs / 0 stone 1.5 lbs) lighter! Now, full disclosure: my home scale does run a tiny bit lighter than the official InBody scale at my fitness center, but still, this was a total plot twist. Let’s see how it happened. 1. Day 2 Weight Tracking I actually started tracking both my morning and evening weights from week one because I wanted to see exactly how my body reacts to what I eat during the day, and how much it naturally b...

[K-Diet] 163cm (5'4"), Chasing the '48kg' (105 lbs / 7 stone 7 lbs) for the First Time in My Life – Jennie’s Body Goals Challenge Day 1

Hi there! Welcome to Doughly Noted. Do you have a dream weight you've always wanted to hit? For me, at 163cm (about 5'4"), that magic number has always been 48kg (105 lbs / 7 stone 7 lbs). For some reason, I used to vaguely think, "If I finally reach that number, maybe I’ll get married?!" But honestly, seeing a '4' as the first digit of my weight seemed like an impossible dream. I hadn't seen that number since my growth spurt back in school. To be fair, it’s not like I was obsessed with dieting before. I was just living a perfectly normal (hopefully), and contented life. Sure, a bunch of random diets passed through my life—mostly just because a friend was doing it, or because I suddenly felt a bit self-conscious, or out of that mysterious longing for 48kg thinking it would reveal the "true me." But nothing ever stuck. Looking back now in 2026, I’ve decided to open up my journals from last summer. In this section, I want to share my honest, ...
